Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA)

The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) is the Nigerian government agency responsible for monitoring and maintaining all federal roads across the country's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Operatonalizing as a subsidiary under the Federal Ministry of Works, its core mandate is to keep Nigeria’s roughly 36,000 kilometers of federal highways safe and motorable.
